Kyla said goodbye to Ethyl today. They shared 6 years and 92,028 miles of great and some not-so-great memories! Yes, she did shed a tear. The new mini-van! It has power everything, stow-n-go seats plus stadium seats for the back row, remote control doors and tailgate, DVD player for Luella (and other passengers), navigation system, leather seats (front ones with butt warmers!), kit, AND caboodle ! What a play date ! We were babysitting Sigrid while her mommy and daddy were at a conference. We didn't anticipate that the paperwork would take 2 hours. Thankfully, her mommy and daddy said we could keep her!

Luella found an old pair of Kyla's sunglasses and loves them! Luella loves her daddy and her new sunglasses. Little miss climber decided to help fix the ceiling fan.

Eww! Girl Cooties! Eww! Boy Cooties! Ian doesn't seem to mind Luella using him to push her way off the couch.

Look at the huge spider web in our back yard. It's stretched between the garden fence, tree and tool shed. A little closer on the spider. Ugh! Extreme close up! SO GROSS!

Kyla guesses 11 years of 4-H wasn't completely erased from her memory! What do you mean I have to share this cake with everyone else? Last weekend I had one to myself! Luella's one piece of cake was still good enough to wear! Luella got a drum that plays the alphabet in English and Spanish from April and Josh Miller. Luella got a soft stuffed bunny and CDs of kids' music from Great-uncle Phil and Great-aunt Becky. Luella loves a great party! She may be one year old, but still looks like a newborn when she naps. Luella found her cake and dug into the frosting!
