Sikorski Saga

The Sikorski Family just before Tim took command of HHC , 20 th Support Command ( CBRNE ). Tim's XO (Executive Officer) 2LT Tina Mabon became narrator because she could pronounce our names! 1 SG Tamiko Bogad and random people from the company who could spare an hour to stand in formation. The incoming commander's side of the ceremony/ audience during the invocation. Notable guests are Kyla, Luella, Uncle Phil, and our Pastor Paige Evers . Her husband Eric and daughter Sigrid spent a lot of the ceremony outside - like Kyla thought Luella might need. Luella and Goobers "helped" Kyla wrap birthday presents for Isaac and Dan. Luella showing off her cute outfit and just how adorable she looks in a ponytail! For once Goobers "grounded" Luella in the laundry room, instead of Luella grounding Goobers!

The moon is almost completely covered! It was amazingly clear and bright last night, even after it snowed all afternoon. Quite a beautiful sight!

Phil, Becky and new their dog Sidney came to visit us on Monday! Goobers thankfully didn't freak out - probably because he's bigger than Sidney.

Goobers actually tried to jump into the tub with Luella. That was until he realized that she likes to splash water! Yep, I'm adorable! Private Luella reporting for bath time!

Luella had her first sleep over on Saturday the 16th. She stayed with Ian and Carly while Kyla and Tim got a date night!

Tim is giving a speech to the Sunday School kids tomorrow about God's protection and life in the Army. Kyla searched her computer in 2003 to find Tim's OIF 1 pictures and came across this one. This was about a week before Kyla deployed for OIF 1.5. She spent Labor Day in Minnesota with her family at the State Fair. This is a 4 year old Maren, but at first glance, she looks like Luella!

Luella and Kyla had a playdate with Ian and Carly yesterday. It ended with a kiss!

Luella loves Kyla's yoga mat, mostly for the static hair effect! Luella actually helped Kyla to bake these heart cookies for Tim! (And not just the taste-testing part!) Tim had flowers with chocolates and a chocolate cake delivered for Valentine's Day! Here's all of Kyla's objects of love - well, except for Tim - he's at work! Luella asks, "What? Didn't Daddy give the chocolates to me? I have to taste test!"

Today Kyla had her 13 week pregnancy appointment. Tim came and we got to hear the heartbeat! This baby is like Luella - it doesn't like to be poked and prodded and kept squirming away from the Doppler (ultrasound-like microphone). The midwife couldn't count the heart beats.

Luella thinks everything Kyla does is cool and she tries to imitate...even morning sickness!

Luella is wearing a pair of Kyla's high heels! We have a video of her walking in them. Maybe on a day when the internet is more cooperative, we'll add it.

Luella models how great the floors look in the hallway. Tim put in new floors. Kyla put in new curtains. Kyla wonders why she tried to stage the photo without toys. Luella decided the floor looked much more natural covered in toys!

Tim got his command photo taken yesterday. This will be in the program for the change of command and will hang in a hallway for the next year and a half. Kyla knows she's lucky to have such a handsome husband!

Luella got most of her hair in a ponytail! She rocked our Super Bowl "party" with her cute ponytail.

Luella's mommy put a flower hair clip in her hair. Goober's big sister put a flower clip in his hair. He is not as amused as she was!
