Say Cheese! Luella actually said "cheese" for the picture and I didn't prompt her! Luella started knocking on the table, so Tim taught her knock knock jokes! I don't know why she doesn't think they're as funny as we do!

Today was Luella's last day of swimming lessons. She enjoyed playing in the cascading water after class. Luella sitting in the cascading water. I think we need to take Luella to a water park! The pool on the right was her class "room" and her instructors are with the next bigger kids' class. After swimming lessons, we had our first lesson at the YMCA for Itty Bitty Sports. Luella was introduced to lots of sports. Here she kicked in her first soccer goal! Spinning under the parachute is lots of fun! She shoots! She scores! Jumping around in the hula hoop. We celebrated by eating cheesy burgers at Tim's office. The coolest part about Daddy's office (besides Daddy) is the ability to spin in his chair! So exciting, the chocolate milk sippy cup top popped off!

Tim got the motorcycle's registration in the mail today! She is now up and running! We can't wait for those cheaper gas bills! Plus now Tim can model his Father's Day present - a new helmet!

This year we planted cherry tomatoes and big tomatoes. Luella picked the only slightly red cherry tomato and declared it, "YUMMY!" It was so yummy she tried picking and eating one of the green ones. This one was spit out in her toy kitchen sink and declared, "YUCKY!"

The great news is that Luella had fun at Ashlynn Hudson's 4 th birthday party today. The good news is that Luella isn't allergic to bees. The bad news is that she got stung when she stepped on a bee with her bare feet at the birthday party. She's our little trooper since she only cried for a few minutes and then continued to play. She only has a red stripe to mark the site. On a different day, Luella smelt her feet and decided they were stinky and had to share.

Luella is modeling her swimming lessons suit. She has "pretty panties" since the pool said it required rubber diaper covers. Luella loves kicking in the water and the pool noodles! Sigrid and her mommy Pastor Paige got us in the swimming class with them! Luella playing in the pool before class started. Since it's very much parents and kids being hands on, we didn't get any pictures during class.

The Chaplain sent us pictures he took of Luella and Kyla at the Army's birthday party. Here Luella is watching Tim get hit with a pie, or three. Here Kyla is giving Luella water. It was such a hot day! Luella had her 21-month sick baby appointment yesterday. She's 34 3/4" tall and weighs 30 pounds. She has a vocabulary beyond a 2 year old. Plus, she either has allergies or a summer cold. The Dr. prescribed Benadryl when we think she needs it. On a bright note, yesterday was also the first time she counted to 10 all by herself! She really counted to 14, but skipped over 11 and 13! Today we celebrated the Army's 233rd birthday! Tim's unit had a cake cutting ceremony and a Class A inspection. It was really awesome seeing everyone in their dress uniforms. Even the joint military personnel showed up in their dress uniforms. After cake and lunch, Tim's unit also did a fund raiser - sponsoring pies to be thrown at others. Tim got three pies in the face! His consist...

Luella thinks the sprinklers are "helicopters up in the air" because of the rotation of the water. What a lucky girl! She has her own water slide - it even looks like the frog's tongue!
