The incoming commander's side of the ceremony/ audience during the invocation. Notable guests are Kyla, Luella, Uncle Phil, and our Pastor Paige Evers. Her husband Eric and daughter Sigrid spent a lot of the ceremony outside - like Kyla thought Luella might need.
Outgoing commander, CPT Shawn Miller; COL Ray Van Pelt; incoming commander, CPT Tim Sikorski saluting the flag during the National Anthem.

The outgoing commander's wife Carilynne Miller getting a bouquet of full-bloom red roses to signify the love that grew between the company and herself.
Kyla receiving a bouquet of yellow rose buds to signify the growing friendship extended between the company and herself. Luella smelled the roses and said, "MMMMMMM!"
Passing the guideon, a centuries old tradition that signifies the passing of responsibility from one commander to another. 1SG Bogad gives the guideon to CPT Miller and they spoke of the great times they had working together.

CPT Miller gives the guideon to COL Van Pelt, relinquishing command of the company. Many kind words are spoken about the great work CPT Miller did during his tenure as commander.

COL Van Pelt gives the guideon to Tim, entrusting him with running the company. Few words are spoken, mostly to the extent of "Don't screw this up!" according to Tim's version.

Tim gives the guideon back to 1SG Bogad and says he's looking forward to their year(+) working together.
Tim giving his speech. He was hazed later for having the longest incoming commander's speech at 1 minute 8 seconds. Kyla skipped the pictures of COL Van Pelt's speech and CPT Miller's speech.
Tim, Kyla and Luella cutting the cake at the change of command reception.

Uncle Phil's change of command cake magically turned into his 58th birthday cake with a candle and a song!
