After our tour of the Holocaust Museum, Mrs. Danczyk goes on a whirlwind tour of DC. From the Washington Monument , you can see all the other ones, like the Capitol. On the other side, you can see Tim and Luella in front of the WWII Memorial, Reflecting Pool, and Lincoln Memorial. At the Korean War Memorial, Luella loved looking at the duck.

Here is Independence Hall, right across the street from the Liberty Bell. Luella with her Wacky Quacker ! Quack! Quack! In front of the Betsy Ross house, actors perform a "lecture" on sword fighting. The Quakers of the 1700s were the "fun police" and didn't allow plays, shows, dances, or entertainment of any kind. The "lecture" was really fun and entertaining! Your coins with the "P" come from this building!

We are the proud parents of our first Vacation Bible School arts and crafts project! Luella was in the nursery while Kyla was teaching 3rd & 4 th graders. We had no idea they did this with the little kids! Can you tell VBS was during Luella's nap time?

Luella realized for the first time that Goobers is playing WITH her! Our prayers go out to those on the I-35W bridge in Minneapolis . Thankfully all my family was home, safe and sound.

Luella's 7 th tooth stayed up, so we're calling it! The 7 tooth wonder got a new shawl after we asked a friend to fix Kyla's baby shawl, but it was too difficult. Meet me at the Tostido's bowl! Luella loves crawling in and out of the tent. Luella thinks she can climb the recliner. Almost there! Look at me! I can climb! Luella emptied her kitchen cabinet so she could crawl in like Goobers does! Then she emptied her toy tub so she could crawl in it!
