Baby in a box! Luella's incredibly happy that Daddy bought a shop vac so she could play in the box! Tim started installing the floor! Luella wants to help Daddy. "No Daddy. This piece fits better!" Tim is nearly done with the main floor and Luella still wants to help! Luella showing off the floor as it looked this morning. They just need the finishing trim! Wow, she is styling in her footie pajamas and maroon cowgirl boots!
Tim has a four-day weekend.
Tim asked Kyla what he should do for his 4 day weekend. Kyla said she was tired of looking at the mashed in bananas in the dining room carpet. We should put in hardwood floors to match the kitchen. After all, it has been a year since those were put in, and they still look great! Kyla turned around and the carpet landed outside! She turned around again and the original parquet floor was gone! We're down to the concrete subfloor ! Tim's still smiling. Must be day one of this project!
Official Announcement!
We are expecting baby #2! Kyla had her first ultrasound today and this is "Baby Nugget" as nicknamed. We labeled the body parts we could distinguish. This one looks really healthy according to the ultrasound tech and the nurse midwife Kyla saw yesterday! The due date is August 19 th according to the midwife and August 23rd according to the ultrasound tech. With so many birthdays in August, it's bound to be born on someone's birthday! Maybe we'll get lucky and it'll have 8/8/08 for a birthday!
