On November 5 th , Tim and Kyla celebrated their 4 th marriage anniversary! Tim continued his celebration tradition by making seafood. This year was clam pasta! Yummy! Luella admiring the flowers Tim brought home for Kyla.

After effects of Halloween - who gave Luella chocolate?! Give Tim a free weekend with no obligations of parties or runs, and he rips out a bathroom! We've wanted to update it since we bought the house and we're finally getting it started! Tim found a lamp behind his shower, in the wall. We're thinking about keeping it there because it's really ugly! Give Kyla a free weekend and she traded out all Katja's clothes for 3-6 month sizes. Here she's wearing a favorite shirt of Luella's from Jeni!

Katja and Luella dressed up, ready for trick-or-treating! Katja's costume close-up. She's a saguaro cactus. Can you tell her Arizona daddy had some influence on her costume?! We're out trick-or-treating at our friend Laura's house. Luella loves her lollipops! Tim's pumpkin has a headache. As Linus from Charlie Brown bemoaned, "I didn't know you were going to kill him!" Tim also carved Igor. Kyla carved her little darlings. Luella carved a smiley face. Okay, she picked it out and Tim carved it for her. All our pumpkins in a row. The boys next door love trying to figure out what we carve every year.

Rolling up Luella's sleeves so she can dig right in! She loved it a lot more than last year! Katja was there for the festivities, but didn't really join in the fun. Eww! Guts! Gutting a pumpkin is hard work!

Goobers, Katja and Luella watching Sesame Street. Looked like a good photo op for me! Wow is Luella long! Goobers stopped taking care of himself when Katja was born, so we had his matted hair shaved off his back.

Luella wonders where Daddy is. So many runners and the text message said he should be passing any minute. Too bad the text messages weren't reliable. Tim passed that point 15 minutes before we got there. Tim showing Luella that if you finish, you get a really cool medal. Not sure why the photo is rotated this way. It's not saved like this in my photos. Not only do you get a cool medal when you finish, but a beer too! This moment was all Tim thought about the last 5 miles. Yep, we'll hug and kiss the sweaty guy for running 26.2 miles in 4 hours and 47 minutes. Had to get the family photo with Katja in there too! Katja is a little camera curious. We can get her talking up a storm when she can't see the camera.
