Sikorski Saga

Kyla spent all day today updating this blog. Kati got bored a few times playing with Luella and found things to do on her own. Like taking the camera and photographing the computer. She photographed the rest of the office and Luella in the arts and crafts room that disguises itself as a dining room. We got to chat with Tim on Skype ! Then Kati was hungry and ate the remaining sugar in the sugar bowl. Kyla guesses it was just over 1/4 cup, but not quite 1/3 cup of sugar. Kati at the start of the sugar crash, upset that we had her pose with the evidence. She is asleep now. Hopefully she sleeps all though the night because she needs it!

Tim went to the elephant orphanage again today. This is Shakuru , the elephant he adopted for Pastor Kim Conway. This is Tano , the elephant he adopted for Luella and Katja . At the other animal orphanage, Tim got to feed an ostrich. Tim also got to feed monkeys . This monkey was nice. This monkey wasn't so nice. She probably thought Tim was going for the baby when he offered food, so she bit him. The zookeeper assured Tim she had all her shots. For once Tim was glad the Army made him get a rabies vaccine. Tim also never cleaned a tiny cut as many times as he did today. So far he still has his finger and it's not infected. Tim took this just for Kati - a baby leopard! Tons of wild monkeys wandered the grounds. Tim was in no way going to feed these animals! Tim saw some Masai warriors who convinced him and another mzungu (white guy) to dance with them.

Yet another day Kyla didn't take any pictures.

Is it lucky to wake up to snow on your wedding day, or is God getting in early on the April Fool's jokes?! The snow was all melted by noon. Kyla was flabbergasted that Anna made US waffles and sausage for breakfast on HER wedding day! She wouldn't let us help her either. Kati enjoyed playing with Anna and Brian's dog Jack. She threw it - go get the toy Jack! Bridesmaids just waking up and fresh out of the shower. Yes, they both hate that Kyla took this photo! Anna making sausage. She also made eggs for Robin, who's a vegetarian. We need some protein for strength today! The girls loved that Anna put chocolate chips in their waffles!
