Kyla shopped the clearance racks at Target for more school clothes, and warm clothes, for the upcoming school year. Kati loves polka dots and pandas! Luella got a new twirly skirt and leggings to go with the sparkly shoes that Great-Grandma Dot sent for her birthday! Both girls will be styling this year!

Luella's preschool class was supposed to have an open house today, but it was cancelled due to Tropical Storm Lee. Our next door neighbor Jessica Thompson came over and we put on the Shake It Up DVD and had a dance party in the living room!

Today was Kati's three-year-old open house at preschool. She got to meet her new Blueberry classmates! Blueberry Class is the Tuesday/Thursday 3-year-old class. Here Kati is playing with Chase Spory . Luella came along to play too. She loves play dough! Eddie Craig is also in Kati's class. They are good friends from church. The only other girl in her class is Gabriella (Ella) Pogue . The kids had fun playing with all sorts of toys. Rysa Wheeler is another friend from church. She is in the Red Birds class, the Monday/Wednesday/Friday 3-year-old class. Kati and Anthony Morales played with the farm animals. This is our preschool director, Karen Stokes. Here is Kati's Blueberry teacher Mrs. Susan Moreau . Here is Mrs. Debbie Couture, the Red Bird teacher and Blueberry assistant teacher.

Luella loves having her birthday party before her birthday because that means left over birthday cake for breakfast! The Three Musketeers sing and celebrate Luella first thing in the morning! Happy Fifth Birthday Luella! Luella loves to pose for the camera, especially on her birthday! Kati started dance class today. Allison Wofford is in her class again this year! When Tim and Uncle Phil got off work, we went to Famous Dave's for dinner! We got to sit next to the fireplace. Lots of fun and g...

It's become a habit to take pictures of the deer in our backyard. Soon hunting season will start and we want Tim to say he saw SOME deer! We find it incredibly cute watching our little girls do push ups! Kati demonstrates for us how to do push ups on the couch! Ian Jackson left his outfit here after the party. Kyla washed it and now it lives on the back of the couch.

Last night Lynn, Stuart, Hailey and Ian Jackson came to spend the night so Lynn could teach Kyla how to make a fondant covered cake. Luella's been watching way too many cake shows on TV like Cake Boss and Ace of Cakes. She wants a three layer princess cake with gumballs because Kyla set five years old as the age to chew gum. Kyla's been watching those shows too much too, because she wants to try! Kyla, Lynn and Ian woke up early to work on making cakes for Kati and Luella. Kati is getting a Mickey Mouse cake and our model is as big as Ian! The party started and the parents stayed upstairs while the kids played downstairs. Luella's "boyfriend" Aiden came to the party and needed encouragement to join all the girls and festivities. It's a sea of pink and purple Minnie Mouse and Princess dresses! Poor Eddie is the only boy brave enough to make it downstairs! We started with lunch because the party started at noon. We got as many as we could seated around the t...
