Sikorski Saga

 Kati is our early riser from her bed, so she comes to snuggle with us in our bed until we are all ready to wake up.  Sometimes we are pretty silly! Snuggle time is always good for giggles and smiles. What a great way to start our day!

 Tim took a picture of the van temperature while taking Luella to karate lessons today. It's gotten downright chilly!  Kati got herself dressed and ready to play outside in the snow this afternoon! She bravely took those first footsteps out into the snow falling outside.  Sadly it looks more like a rain shower, but it really is snowing out there.  Kati decided that her legs were chilly and she should probably come in to put on pants or tights.  Kati found her tights and put them on herself. Yes, over her socks.  It was tough work getting ready to go outside. Kati needed a nap break! Luella decided to wait inside drinking hot chocolate until enough snow accumulated outside before going out to play. The snow never accumulated today and we're still stuck with green grass.

 The girls' Enchanted Forrest on the way to and from preschool (Delaney Road) looks beautiful with the fall foliage.  The bridge has some beautiful trees.  Kyla made this cake for her Wilton Course Two Flowers and Cake Design class final. She got the butter cream icing base so smooth, it was almost a shame to cover it with more frosting.  During class she relearned how to make the basket weave, so she chose to do that for this cake.  The flower basket overflows with royal icing floral creations! This finished cake was given to our church friends and family of James Nathaniel Schriner who was born on October 26, 2011.

 Luella made a monster mask for craft time during her Daddy/Daughter Date with Tim during the 4/5 Year Old class's Father's Night.  Smiles for Luella and Tim!  They decorated their own cupcakes for their snacks. Tim let Luella do all the decorating.  Luella loves cupcake decorating!  Look at her attention to detail. Tim and Luella show off her cupcake creations! Delicious! Picking Out My Pumpkin and Five Pumpkins on a Gate They ended the night with a dance party! Let's do the Monster Mash!

 Kati and her dance BFF Alyson Wofford posed in their Halloween costumes before class started. Here is Kati's class all dressed up for Halloween. Kyla was amazed that there was only one princess and the twins were Wonder Woman and a cowgirl.

Luella's dance class had a Halloween costume class. Three Rapunzels! All the girls were quite cute!

Kyla has been practicing her cake decorating techniques for her Wilton Course 2 class. Here is her tiger lily before spots. Kati decided to help Kyla get rid of her excess icing.  Kati sucked all the icing from the tip!
