Kati is going to be really mad when she realizes that Kyla put this on the internet. We're still working on potty training. Kyla finds it amusing that Kati was so cold she had to wear her hat and winter coat in the house, but was naked from the waist down!

 We all gathered for New Year's Dinner with the Larsen's! Around the table are: Tim, Kati and Luella, Carla and Mel Jarenson, Tom, Frances and Kristen Larsen, Aunt Becky and Uncle Phil Rasmussen. It's a fun reunion getting together with Kyla's dad's side of the family that lives here in Virginia!  After dinner we chatted in the music/living room. The girls kept Kristen entertained!  Carla told us about her painting exhibition and her horse riding lessons.  Uncle Phil has his beard and Aunt Becky didn't seem happy to be caught off guard. Mel and Fran both responding to Kyla taking pictures in their own way!  What was that you said?! Mel got the seat next to the old phonograph.  Tom and Tim chatting while the ladies retired to the kitchen to talk about refrigerators! We were gifted a piano from Kyla’s cousins Tom and Francis Larsen. Kyla and Luella started piano lessons with Ms. Annemarie Landry shortly after we got our new-to-us piano. We came home to find that Sigrid Evers left her mark in the house! She made a Luella face to show how she picked out her clothes at night. She also left lots of pictures around the house for us to find! It was fun seeing what the Evers left the night they stayed at our house while we were in Minnesota!

As we leave Minnesota, the girls had to stand on the little patch of snow. It might be the most snow they see all winter. We watched the sunset as we left Wisconsin for Illinois.

Tim made tacos with the goose meat that he and Dad got when they went out on their hunt. The girls kept asking for seconds! Even Mom thought they were pretty tasty and she doesn't like game meat.
