We started with lunch because the party started at noon.

We got as many as we could seated around the table.

The rest of the kids ate in the living room.

Eating on the couch, quite the treat on a regular day!
BFFs around an end table.

Pink-wearing girls at the coffee table.

Most of the dads outside grilling the "hot
diggity dogs" and having great conversations.

We had everyone make bows, hair bands for girls, ties for boys. Then we played pin the flower on Minnie or cutie mark on the pony. After that was musical chairs with coloring pages. It didn't work so great after many kids didn't want to go out.

Here is the three-tiered castle princess cake Lynn and Kyla decorated from 7-11 am this morning! Not bad for a first attempt at fondant!

We forgot to figure out positions for the candles on the cake.

Another close-up of the cake.

Kyla's first fondant attempt was Mickey's shoes, pants, bow tie and face. She piped the rest.

Singing the Happy Birthday song to Kati with her colorful flame candles!

There's just something about men, fire and food. Jeff took back his lighter to light Luella's birthday candles.

Luella made a wish and blew out her candles!

Kyla took pictures of most of the party-goers. Here's Jeff, Liam and Sarah Jurist.

Schriner. Ari, Kati, Hailey and
Rysa.

Kati had a super happy day!

Kyla realized seconds before Kevin was going to leave that she didn't have a picture of him from the whole weekend! Aunt Becky and Uncle Phil took him to the train station.

Kevin and Kati enjoying family hugs!

The Cake Mommas! Be on the lookout for this dynamic cake decorating duo to open a shop when they live in the same state again! Thanks for all your help Lynn!

We used so much powdered sugar to roll out the fondant that little feet made nice footprints on the hardwoods!

Kyla wanted to get a thank you card made with the girls and
Toodles. She's learning to ask the girls for a silly face to get smiling faces later.

Here's their smiling faces!

Kyla had to give Ian one more snuggle before he left to go back to Maryland.

Kati is smiling with her new lip gloss and fingernail polish.

Luella is showing off her new fake nails with princesses on them. They had such a fun birthday party! Thanks to everyone who came to celebrate with us and make the day so special!
