Kyla used her cake decorating class assignment to make herself a cake for her birthday today.

Kyla had her follow up allergist appointment today at the new hospital on Ft.
Belvoir. The new soap and lotion for her face have helped and the
Flonase helps her to breathe, so we just keep going with that plan. We had some time to kill, so Kyla and Kati had a milk and coffee date at Starbucks.
After Tim got off work, we went on a family date to see The Lion King in 3D! It was so much fun, and 3D is probably the only reason to go to the movies these days.
We went out to dinner at...not Famous Dave's. We were all a little
BBQ'd out at this point. We went to Macaroni Grill because Kyla always loves their chocolate cake, but they've changed their menu. It's good, but not the same as last year. By the time we got dinner, it was almost 9pm and someone else brought their infant who cried the entire time. Not quite the relaxing dinner Kyla hoped for, but we can't beat a night out with our whole family!
