Dance Recital Day! (6/25/11)

Our little prima ballerinas are all dolled up and ready to dance their hearts out for the recital!
Goobers started sleeping in the sinks. We don't know if it's more supportive, cooler, relief from flea bites, or what, but he enjoys a good sink.
The girls found an old baby bib and put it on Goobers like a bandanna.
Auntie Ginger came to watch the girls dance and we're all in the van on our way to Woodbridge High School!
The WHS kiosk announced the dance recital!
BFF's Paige Roden and Luella giving hugs before the long wait until their performance.
Kati is all dressed up and just waiting to go on stage.
Molly Schroer and Kati get a duet at the age of TWO!
Luella posing just before going on to perform her ballet routine.
Posing with Kati, who was finished with her dance, but didn't want to go back into the audience.
The girls mostly smiling with their nervous tension.
Now the girls are giving Kyla the look that they've had enough with the pictures.
Kati started posing waiting for Luella's class to go on stage.
At the end of the show, the girls danced in the finale. Kati is holding Jenna Owen's hand, waiting for the balloons to drop from the ceiling.
The girls had SO MUCH FUN!!!!! dancing today! We didn't get a great video of Luella dancing her heart out in the back. They can't wait for next year!
Kristin and Francis Larsen came to watch the girls dance and we all went out for ice cream after the recital! Thank you for supporting the girls! We didn't get a picture with Mrs. Karen Stokes, the preschool director, as she came to watch the girls perform too.
One great part of having so many supporters come, they all gave the girls flowers! They smell wonderful!
Mrs. Stokes brought the lilies from her yard!
No one felt like cooking, so we ordered Chinese! We have a vegetarian vampire!
Later that night, we went out to catch fireflies. The bugs didn't really want to light up in the closet.
