Ginger Hammerquist's Change of Command (3/4/11)

We skipped school on Friday to go see "Auntie" Ginger and support her in her outgoing Change of Command. Right before the ceremony, she was presented with an Army Commendation Medal.
She was also presented with a plaque showing the building she worked in, with all her Soldiers signing the matting.
She gave a quick speech, thanking everyone for their support.
Then we walked across the street to an auditorium where the Change of Command ceremony was held.

A big video explaining the ceremony and a little high five at the end!
Ginger gave a great speech! Very entertaining, talking about the company's accomplishments, funny, sentimental, and no one cried!
Kyla ran into Tim's last 1SG Terry Skykes, who informed her that he nominated her for the Dr. Mary Walker Award (the highest level civilian award the Army can give) and she won, but was never presented the award. Now we're going to have to track that down.
