This morning we walked for the National MS Society. So far Kyla has raised $300! Kyla's inspiration for walking was her college roommate Jeni
Mullenix. Jeni has been diagnosed with MS-like symptoms in 2004 and has been episode-free for almost a year! Kyla's reason for joining Team Epiphany (Lutheran Church) is that fellow a Young Families mom Denise Shoemaker was officially diagnosed earlier this year. She started having symptoms in 2003, but this year was her official diagnosis. Today she walked without feeling in her right thumb, index and middle fingers. She is trying to learn how to be a lefty.

We had a chilly start this morning, so the girls got all bundled up for the five mile walk.

Patty, Taylor and Eddie Craig rode with us so we had company and knew we were in the right place!

While we waited for the rest of our team to arrive, the kids enjoyed the bouncy castle.

Here is Team Epiphany before we found Kelly
Schriner.

Here is all of Team Epiphany! We had a great time walking and chatting. We took a shortcut and cut off about a mile because we think the police escorts wanted to open the roads and we didn't complain because Denise's husband Tom had to get to work. The pregnant ladies weren't too sad about the shortcut either!
