Happy Early Birthday Lynn! (3/5/11)

Happy Early Birthday to Lynnea Jackson! While the big girls were out helping Lynn celebrate, Stuart took Luella and Hailey to Home Depot for the kids' crafts. Here Luella is hammering her race car.
Hailey finished hammering and is now stickering her car.
Luella showing off her finished race car! Great job Luella! Thank you Stuart and Hailey for a fun play date!
Lynn decided to celebrate her birthday early since the baby's due date is her birthday. Hard to believe that she's going to give birth in 2 weeks! She's so little for being 37 weeks pregnant! Lynn missed getting her toes painted for her first baby's birth, so pedicures were definitely on the list before the second baby's birth. We were happy to go along! Kati was with us since we thought she might be just a little bit too little for hammering without injury.
Tricia came later to join us for her pedicure.
This was a cute picture of Kati at Coffee Coffee in the Festival.
This was a good picture of the rest of the ladies! We all enjoyed our girl talk time!
Kyla got a St. Patrick's Day inspired mocha and the chocolate drizzle design was too cute to pass up a photo. Kati enjoyed the chocolate muffin and hot cocoa. Here's a panoramic photo of Lynn's fondue birthday party! The kids had a blast playing games and eventually putting on a circus for us! Josh and Tricia posed for the camera! The girls all posed with their painted toes. Left to right: Lynn, Tricia, Ginger and Kyla. Kati found the Happy New Year's hats. Showing off just how cute they look in hats! Kati and Hailey showing off their painted toes. Such cutie pies!

Luella picked out her own outfit. She was cold, so long sleeves and pants. Then she was hot, so flip-flops. She loves her hat, so that worked in her mind too. Katja just looking cute, so had to take her picture too! Bath time for the girls and Luella decided that making Katja's hair stick straight up means she's a boy. We really don't know where she gets this from! Sorry if you're offended by the baby nudity/ inadvertent mooning.

Tim plays Army in WV.

This is the Center for National Response. It's right off I-70 in West Virginia. It was part of the interstate, but the tunnel thru the mountain was too difficult for the state to maintain , so they let people train in there. They can make it rain, blow wind up to 40 mph, fires, explosions, all kinds of awesome training. Here's Tim's company at the entrance to the tunnel. Tim was playing Army while we were hosting Ginger before her big move. Tim and April Miller - team leaders discussing their missions from the day. Tim and his company commander, MAJ Alex Lovase discussing football, or something. Take cover! They have paintball gun attachments to their weapons so you can see where you got hit. One of the missions was to rappel down this hill... Then wade thru this tunnel for 1/4 mile in icy cold water to get to the objective site... As you can see, it was a really long day. Tim was the commander for this mission. The Soldiers had to traverse thru a collapsed tunnel....

Early Birthday Celebrations! (8/6/11)

Kyla found Goobers sleeping on Kati's diaper changing table this morning. He was so cute laying there, Kyla had to get the girls in on a the picture too. We decided to spend this Saturday afternoon celebrating Kati's birthday. We went to see Cars 2 in the movie theater. It was cute, but like most sequels, the original was better. Kati had a coupon for a free meal to Famous Dave's. It came with a Roman candle! Look at the shocked expression on her face with the BIG CANDLE! Kati tried to blow out her candle, but it just wouldn't stop! Luella on the other end of the flames wondered if she really needed her eyebrows! This kid loves her ice cream! Happy early 3rd birthday Katja Johanna!
