Videos of Dance Class (9/7/10)

Katja in her first dance class stretching to the Itsy Bitsy Spider. Touch your toes!

Mrs. Rebecca teaching Katja and Molly the basics like pizza feet, tip-toes, holding a beach ball and pretty arms.

Now the princesses have magic wands to practice pretty arms.

Katja will walk all over the house on tip toes, but the moment Mrs. Rebecca wants her to dance on tip toes, she goes flat footed.

Luella's class is already full. Here they are learning the basic pizza feet (close enough to First Position for little legs).

Luella and the great tip-toe race! (Or Pas de Pointe, as we're learning real terms.) Then moving into an Arabesque.

Luella's class is a combination ballet and tap dance. Luella is not the girl in the black leotard that we can see clearly, she's the one in the black leotard we have to hunt for in the sea of pink.

Appropriately at lunch the song, "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" came on and the girls started dancing to it!
