Merry Christmas to us - We're going to Disney World!

The four Sikorski's took a week-long vacation to Orlando, Florida! We started driving 11/27/10, making it to Fayetteville, NC. A false entry burglar alarm from our house provided excitement in the first 15 minutes of the drive. We had police dispatched and they found nothing out of place. When we finally got ahold of Uncle Phil, he discovered that the door between the garage and kitchen was open about an inch, probably air pressure differential pushing the door open. We were stuck on I-95 and couldn't turn around easily. Thank God we live close to family we trust with keys to our house!
We stayed with Mark Yeary and saw Joanna Taber as she was visiting him for Thanksgiving weekend. We had dinner with Vanessa and Brandon Bowman. It was a fun evening of catching up with long-time friends!
On the road 11/28/10 from North Carolina to Florida. Katja demonstrating why we shouldn't have chocolate covered pretzels for snacks in the minivan.
Luella has just a bit less frosting.
We arrived at our hotel late that night. Thanks to Mike and Kat Ryan (Army friends we met at APG), we got to use a week of their time share. We stayed at the Marriott Lake Harbour resort. The girls got their own beds in their own room!
The girls' bathroom is Jack-and-Jill'ed with the kitchen/foyer area.
From the front door, we walk right into the kitchen with all the appliances we needed. We could have used more pans, but so far this was the best equipped hotel kitchen we've ever used.
The dining room has banquet seating, providing hours of jumping entertainment during the week.
Our living room looked good, but wasn't the most comfortable.
The view of our whole communal living area in our hotel room.
Right by the front door, we also had a washer and dryer in our room! It came in very handy when Kati got sick later in the week and before we left, Kyla packed clean clothes in our suitcases!
The master bedroom suite with attached handicapped bathroom.
Our sink and toilet.
Our handicapped shower that made Kyla claustrophobic when the shower curtain was drawn.
The view of our bedroom from the bathroom.
The next morning we found out that we had a balcony with a view of the lake!
