WDW Day 4, Magic Kingdom (12/3/10)aka BEST DAY EVER!
Santa and Mickey didn't leave presents today since we didn't go to Disney World the day before.
Katja was exhausted from the whole week and not ready to face the day. She refused to wear her Cinderella costume today too.
Luella dressed like Belle and went to a ball with the most handsome man ever!
The Beauty, Luella!We went to Magic Kingdom first and met up with Kyla's Army buddy from the 1st Engineer Battalion, Scott Saling. He now lives in Orlando. It was great to spend the day catching up with him as we visited many princesses!
First princess of the day was the one princess the girls were looking forward to meeting the most! Ariel, the Little Mermaid came and played peek-a-boo with Kati!

While waiting to meet Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen from the Princess and the Frog, we went on the Haunted Mansion ride. This ride is the new "Matterhorn" for Luella. She was scared of the yetis on the Matterhorn at Disneyland and now she's terrified of the ghosts who hitched a ride home with us in the Haunted Mansion. She told Prince Naveen all about it.
Kati was having a meltdown while waiting to see Princess Tiana, so she stayed in the stroller.
Princess Tiana was taken by how snuggly Kati can get with her blankey.
Prince Naveen asked Luella what her favorite scene in the movie was, "Pucker up Buttercup!"

While waiting to meet Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen from the Princess and the Frog, we went on the Haunted Mansion ride. This ride is the new "Matterhorn" for Luella. Cinderella's castle was completely decked out for the Christmas Day parade the park filmed today. Some people got the memo to come in red and white clothes with Santa hats to be audience members. We didn't. We also didn't stick around to watch the filming. We were so glad that this wasn't the only day we budgeted for the Magic Kingdom because it would have been a disappointing experience.

After another 75 minute wait in line, we got to see most of the Pixie Hollow Fairies! (Tinker Bell was gone filming the Christmas Day Parade.) Fawn met us and we discussed the tandem hula hoops they had lying around. Some might call them glasses without lenses or bows, but we called them two-person hula hoops. She also had to comment on Kati's cake shirt and Luella's bun looking just like Tinker Bell's.

Disney World is expanding the park to make each princess their own castle. Looks like Belle's castle from Beauty and the Beast will be the next new castle.
