Happy Thanksgiving! (11/24/11)

We got to Phoenix and had a great dinner with G'Pa, G'Ma, Steve, Kim and Zack. Luella took an unexpected dip in the pool, and pulled herself out! The next morning was Thanksgiving and we got ready for the rest of the family to come over! Kati after her bath, showing off her blue/gray eyes.
Luella had to pose, of course.
Dexter the cat waiting to pounce on whatever toys the girls threw near him.
Luella demonstrated to Kati how to keep her arms out for balance so she wouldn't fall into the pool.
Hug for making it safely around the pool!
The girls posed for many pictures today.
Our family tree starts with G'Ma and G'Pa. They were married September 1, 1956.
G'Pa William "Tim" McIntyre was born May 13, 1935.
G'Ma Wanda Lee Pendegrass McIntyre was born August 25, 1935.
Tim's mom Theresa Louise McIntyre was the oldest of her siblings. Tim is the oldest of Theresa and Mike Sikorski. Tim's birthday is May 5, 1979.
Kyla Jeanine Rasmussen Sikorski was born September 16, 1978. Tim and Kyla got married legally in Colorado Springs, CO on November 5, 2004 and with family and friends on September 3, 2005 in Faribault, MN.
Luella Theresa Sikorski is the oldest of Tim and Kyla. She was born September 7, 2006.
Katja "Kati" Johanna Sikorski is Tim and Kyla's youngest. She was born August 13, 2008.
Adam "Ralphie" Sikorski is the youngest of Theresa and Mike. He was born April 18, 1982.
Steve is Tim and Wanda's third child/second son. Here Steve has a great smile, but closed eyes.
(Mark is the oldest son; however, his family did not come to Thanksgiving this year, so no pictures. Mark was born September 26, 1958. During his first marriage he had Shannon on July 7, 1988 and Parker on August 25, 1990. He married Kristine on November 24, 2000. Kristine was born June 27, 1957.)
Steve was born November 21, 1959. Steve and Kim married on October 20, 1990.
Kimberly "Kim" Wagner McIntyre was born September 22, 1962.
Zack is Steve and Kim's only child. He was born August 28, 2003.
Matthew "Matt" McIntyre is Tim and Wanda's youngest. He was born December 6, 1964.
Matt married Kris on July 27, 1996.
Dr. Kristin "Kris" McIntyre, DVM was born September 14, 1968.
Matt and Kris's oldest is Graden "Grady" McIntyre born on May 2, 2000.
Matt and Kris's youngest is Kaeli McIntyre born on July 21, 2003.
G'Ma is done with pictures. Get out of her kitchen now so she can make Thanksgiving Dinner and no one will get hurt.
Kyla played with her camera's panoramic lens and got what the adults were doing in the mid-morning.
G'Pa posed with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Grady wore the most festive hat.
The girls hung out before we decided to go to the school to get out of G'Ma's hair.
The little girls ran right for playground. Phoenix is great at covering their playgrounds so the equipment doesn't burn the kids playing.
Kaeli and Kati built sand castles.
Kati needed a bit of help crossing the monkey bars.
Kaeli didn't need any help crossing the monkey bars.
Kaeli and Luella hung upside down from the jungle gym. They couldn't get Kati to join them.
The girls took a break from hanging around and sat on the slides.
Kaeli is great at posing for pictures. She even stopped swinging for Kyla to take her picture!
The guys played football on the soccer field.
Adam and Kati both yelled, "I got it!"
Uncle Ralphie caught it and tried passing to Kati.
Kaeli and Ralphie played out the Lucy and Charlie Brown scene a few times.
Tim started carting the girls off the field when they got in the way of the plays.
Here's the picture Kris took.
Luella didn't want to feel left out of being carted off the field.
As a light rain came down, we took a group picture on the playground equipment before going back to G'Ma and G'Pa's house.
We look like we are not paying attention to each other at all, but we are all playing Battleship against each other on our smart phones!
The younger cousins posed for us in the hallway.
The young gentlemen.
Cousins love horse-playing and beating each other up with their elbows.
The girls built a fort with Luella and Kati's bed.
The girls loved hanging out inside their fort. Their playing reminded Kyla a lot of playing with her cousins over the holidays.
The guys went outside to play football in the street.
The Uncles in Two Generations vs. the Oldest Boy in their Family Cousins.
The Oldest Boys took a second to work on strategics.
The girls came out of their fort to make rock art.
One of the rock girls.
A whole rock family with dogs and dinosaurs.
The girls were caught in the act! They were singing, "There was a little girl, who had a little curl, right in the middle of her forehead." They didn't sing the second verse, "When she was good, she was very very good, and when she was bad, she was horrid."

Kyla took a video of our outside activities right before Thanksgiving Dinner. Kim doesn't like having her picture taken.
Dinner is ready!
The little kid's table always has the most fun!
The Aunts and Uncles table was quite rowdy too!
Our table was well-behaved.
The girls posed while we set up a family photo.
Fun with camera timers! We always get the funniest faces on the outtakes!
Here's Kyla's photo of Tim's Mom's side of the family who came for Thanksgiving 2011.
Here's Kris's photo of our family.
After the pain and agony of sitting through five minutes of camera timers for a family photo, we retired to the living room to watch James Bond movies.
The movie was over their heads, so they resorted to what cousins do best - teaching armpit farting!
We also dug into the pies. Kyla made Kati her special pumpkin pie without cinnamon.
What a great Thanksgiving Dinner! Tim had to digest.
We celebrated an early Christmas with a gift exchange among the cousins.
Kati got a dinosaur blanket and loves it!
Luella got a kitty blanket and loves it too!
Even Tim and Ralphie love the fuzzy hooded blankets!
You've outdone yourself again Wanda and Tim! Happy Thanksgiving!
